Competitors must be at least 16+ years old on the day of competition. Competitors must have a valid form of ID to check in at the competition.
Competitors must submit the registration form and pay the competition fee before the registration end date. Next, fill out the form to submit your music, props, and tell us your starting. These steps are under the Registration tab.
If any information is found to be false on Competitor’s registration form, competitor will not be allowed to compete at Carolinas Regional.
Carolinas Regional has the right to allow late registration and refuse any registration entries.
Competitors have until registration closes to make changes to their level, category and music selections. Competitors are allowed to email us after that date with any changes to their starting positions.
Competitors must sign a waiver of liability before the competition. This will be emailed to you with the email provided on registration form.
Competitors must sign photo/video release forms before the competition. Competitors waive all rights of filming/photography. Competitors agree that Carolinas Regional can use photos and footage for advertising, promotional and commercial uses. Carolinas Regional owns all rights to all photographs and videos from the event.
Each partner competing in the Double's category need to fill out the Step 1 form and pay the registration fee. Once we have received Step 1 & 2 from both partners, your registration will be confirmed.
Carolinas Regional strives to be an all inclusive, safe and judgement free space. All genders are welcome to compete or participate in any way at Carolinas Regional.
Email us within 24 hours of paying the registration, and we'll refund you. After 24 hours no refunds will be given.
If you can no longer compete, you can transfer your competition spot to another person. Fill out the Transfer form under the Registration tab. We will need to send them new liability and release forms.
Transfers will not be accepted 60 days before the competition date. Carolinas Regional is not responsible for the transfer of payment between competitors.
Check in at the front desk at least an hour before your scheduled time.
Competitors must be present and ready for stage when name is called. If tardy, competitors can be disqualified.
No glass containers are allowed in the warm up area.
Sandbagging will result in a deduction. Sandbagging occurs when a competitor is able to complete all 3 of the required moves for a higher level and registers at a lower level.
All intimate body parts must be covered.
Thongs, pasties and lingerie are allowed.
Nudity or partial nudity will result in disqualification or deduction.
Competitors can wear pole dance heels, boots, socks or go barefoot. No street heels.
Costumes cannot promote a dance studio, business or individual.
Human props are allowed. Judges will only judge you and not your human prop. Human props have to purchase a spectator ticket to the competition. They must be 16+ years old. Human props are required to sign a waiver of liability before participating. The waiver will be sent by email.

No hazardous items are allowed. Some examples are:
Fire and Fireworks
Weapons
Glass
Liquid
Food
No smoke
Anything that needs access to an electrical outlet
loose glitter, confetti, powder, feathers (Glitter on shoes is allowed, angel/devil wings with feathers are allowed)
Items that clamp, or attached to the pole that will hold your body weight.
You can apply grip to your body, but not directly onto our equipment.
You cannot wear any lotions, creams, or oils the day of the event.
Music length is a minimum of 3 minutes and maximum of 4 minutes. Any music submitted that extends 4 minutes or is under 3 minutes will not be accepted.
Explicit language is permitted. The N word is not allowed.
Competitors are responsible for the quality and submission of their music.
All competitors must have a backup of their music.
Music must be uploaded to the form under the Registration tab.
Late music submissions and music changes are a $25 charge.
Spectators of all ages are welcome to watch. Spectator tickets are free for children under 8 years old.
Spectators need to stay out of the professional photographer's view.
